General info 

 

  1. What are the class schedules?

Please refer to brochure or download the timetable.

  1. What if my child joins in the middle of the term?

Course fee will be calculated based on the number of lessons the student attends for the term.  

  1. What is the maximum class size?

Maximum class size is 10. 

  1. What are the teachers’ qualifications?

All teachers are qualified and registered with MOE. They have relevant experience in teaching. 

  1. Are students given homework?

Some homework is given for students for reinforcement of understanding and learning. On top of that, bonus homework is given to students should they feel that they have free time to do it.  

  1. Are the lesson materials created by the teachers or do you use assessment books?

Both, we use our own materials, supplemented by relevant ones from assessment books. 

  1. What should I do if I missed a lesson?

Teachers will keep a copy of the notes for your child. However, no make-up lesson or refund of course fee is provided. If there is another class for that same subject and level, the learner can arrange with the teacher to attend that class.

 

Fees and payment 

 

  1. What is the course fee for my child?

Please refer to the brochures/ fee structure. 

  1. What are the modes of payment?

We accept cheque (preferred) & cash only. Make cheque payable to “Fun Learners’ School LLP”. 

  1. When is the due date for term fees?

2 weeks before the next term commences.  

  1. What happens if the course fee is not received by the due date?

A reminder will be sent to parents. If payment is not received by the 1st lesson of the next term, we will no longer reserve a place for the student. 

  1. I am an ex-student. Must I pay for the registration fee?

Ex-student will be re-registered as a student here, thus $10 registration fee will still be payable to process student’s enrolment.  

  1. Is there any discount for more than 1 subject?

10% discount will be applicable to students taking up 2 subjects

15% discount will be applicable to students taking up at least 3 subjects (also applicable to siblings).

20% discount will be applicable to students taking up at least 5 subjects (also applicable to siblings).  

  1. What is the withdrawal procedure?

1 month’s withdrawal notice has to be given, without which the $50 deposit has to be forfeited. 

  1. Is the deposit refundable upon withdrawal?

Yes, provided the 1 month’s notice of withdrawal is given. 

  1. Will I get a refund of course fee for lessons missed?.

No. See note #18. 

  1. Is there a “recommend a student” reward should parents recommend students to your school?  

We have received many recommendations due to strong word-of-mouth. As a form of appreciation, $40 discount per learner will be given to parents who refer any new learner. The new learner must stay on for at least a full term.

 

 Holidays 

 

  1. Is the school closed on Public Holidays?

School will be closed on Public Holidays. No fees are charged during school closures.

  1. Will there be any lessons during the school holidays?

Lessons will be continued as usual during school holidays, except for a 2-week closure during June holidays and a 4-week closure during Nov/Dec holidays. See our calendar. No fees are charged during school closures.
